Free Driving Course Provided for Dropout Student

The South Jakarta Sub-dept. of Social conducts training for dropout students which is spread on 10 sub-districts in the region.

The free training will be provided for 100 dropout students continually

"The free training will be provided for 100 dropout students continually," said Abdurahman Anwar, Head of South Jakarta Sub-dept. of Social, Wednesday (10/1).

According to him, the training will give the students skill for getting job. "It's  special skill, that actually they won't get from the school. With driving skill, they can apply job as driver, not being PMKS on the street," he added.

Each group will get driving course in a week of duration. After that, they will get free driving license. "There is also evaluation for them. Free driving license is given for good students, while for those who are not good, should learn more," he continued.

The dropout students who interested in this program, they can enroll directly to South Jakarta Sub-dept. of Social by enclosing a copy of ID card, RT/RW and urban village certificate, as well as school certificate or last report card. "The program is already running," he stated.
